ACT’s first environmental justice training of 2024 will be held on Tuesday, January 16 from 10:30am to 12:00pm Central Time. Next month’s session is titled Metrics of Success for Increasing Career Pathways in Urban Forestry and will be facilitated by Dr. Christine Carmichael of Fair Forests Consulting. In this 1.5 hour training, Alliance for Community Trees members will develop knowledge of:
- Key components of successful programs to increase career pathways in urban forestry for diverse people and communities
- Metrics of success for increasing career pathways in urban forestry among underrepresented groups
- Strategies to integrate metrics of success into workforce development programs
