Hear from Jaana Korhonen, WFC Advisory Council member and Research scientist, Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) and USDA Forest Service, Southern Research Station, Center for Integrated Forest Science, along with Rajat Panwar, Department of Forest Ecosystems & Society, Oregon State University, as they share insights and data from a report entitled “Gaps in Diversity Representation and Data Insufficiencies in the U.S. Forest Sector Workforce Analysis.” They’ll share insights illustrating significant gaps in diversity and representation within the private forest sector, particularly in terms of gender and race. Learn how comprehensive and accurate data on diversity and representation can significantly enhance our understanding of business challenges, thereby bolstering policy decisions and strategy formulation across all organizational tiers.
