This year’s conference features three tracts: equity and engagement, research and technology, and planning and funding. Join your fellow tree people from across the state for talks from:
- Leslie Berckes– Executive Director, Urban and Community Forestry Society;
- Deborah Hilbert, Ph.D– Many Trees Consulting;
- Josh Behounek– Davey Resource Group;
- Lemir Teron– Howard University in the Department of Earth, Environment and Equity and SUNY-ESF; and
- Panel discussions featuring youth from Onondaga Earth Corps, Radix Ecological Center, and Newburgh Environmental Justice Fellows.
The conference offers continuing education credits for arborists- from the International Society of Arboriculture, foresters- from the Society of American Foresters, Certified Nursery and Landscape Professionals, and planning and zoning board members.
